Our Manifesto

Mini-Erasmus Experiences for Grown-Ups

Remember the best part of Erasmus? Meeting people from different countries, exploring a city like a local, and building friendships that last a lifetime. Localizing brings that back.  We organize 3–4 day trips in European cities where you travel with a group of people your age, from at least 4 different nationalities, guided by a Local Coordinator who lives there. No tourist traps, no generic tours. Just real connections, local experiences, and that Erasmus feeling you have been missing.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

You can! Most of our travellers join solo and that's part of the magic — you'll meet your group on arrival and our activities are designed to make everyone feel included from minute one. But you're also welcome to come with a friend. Either way, you'll leave with new connections.

The price covers the organization of activities, the Local Coordinator, and coordination of the entire weekend. Accommodation, flights, and meals are not included unless specified, so you have full flexibility. Some activities organized by third parties are paid on the spot. Optional activities are also paid on the spot and only if you decide to join them — so, for example, if the group goes clubbing and you prefer to rest, you simply don't pay for it.

Every group has at least 4 different nationalities and is balanced between men and women.

Yes, you always book your spot for free. We save your card but don't charge you. Payment is only processed once the trip is confirmed and the group meets our requirements (4+ nationalities). If the trip doesn't confirm, you pay nothing. Zero risk.

A Local Coordinator is someone who lives in the city you're visiting. They lead the weekend's planned activities, help you avoid tourist traps, and point you to the best local places to eat and drink. They also manage the group vibe — breaking the ice and making sure no one feels left out (especially solo travelers) — and they're your on-the-ground support if anything changes.

Our activities are built to help people bond quickly — shared meals, small-group experiences, ice-breakers, and local moments where you naturally talk, laugh, and get to know each other. Nothing feels forced; it just makes friendships happen faster.

Yes. Every trip is led by a Local Coordinator who knows the city and is there to support the group throughout the weekend. Groups are small (around 10 people), and you'll receive a detailed programme and join a WhatsApp group before departure so you know exactly what to expect.

Absolutely. You don't need an Erasmus background. If you enjoy meeting international people, exploring cities like a local, and making genuine connections while travelling, Localizing is for you.
